Near Fine in Very Good+ jacket. Nice book; the jacket is bright and probably nicer than usually seen for this title. There are several short closed tears at head of spine causing some nicking, and a less than one inch tear at bottom front flap fold. 1-10 number line. Pretty nice overall.
Very Good in Good jacket. First edition, hardcover. 571 pages. Numbers 10 though 1 present in number line. Very good minus, with soil and small puncture at front gutter, nick to bottom edge of boards, and light foxing to top edge, small spot on fore edge. Dust jacket is good, with several 1" tears to front and rear panels, general wear to both edges, long scratch to rear panel. Author's scarce first novel.
Historical Fiction is the way to teach history, Terry C Johnston is the best. I have read this series over the years maybe 5 times, each time feels like the first. If you love stories of the history of America or just love westerns/early days in the west you must read the story of Titus Bass, mountain man. Terry describes how they dressed, talked, lived and worked each day in vivid detail. The detail of the scenery makes you feel right there. (Terry has walked the land he writes about). What else can I say, if you love historical fiction read about Titus Bass or pick up any Terry C Johnston book and enjoy.
