Dr. Schwartz presents a carefully designed program for getting the most out of your job, your marriage and family life, and your community. He proves that you don't need to be an intellectual or have innate talent to attain great success and satisfaction--but you do need to learn and understand the habit of thinking and behaving in ways that will get you there.

Besides Dale Carnegie, no other authors needed

by CrazyGata on Aug 21, 2008

In all truth, new motivational books out there are but a different deck of the same cards. It's about time we actually put into practice the principles stated by the originals instead of looking for the bigger better deal embedded in the new books frenzy. Again, no other authors are required. In regards to motivation and self help, Dr. Schwartz and Mr. Dale Carnegie are more than enough, anything else is to reiterate or maybe even for entertainment purposes only.

Well written and very practical.

by 1bkh on Feb 10, 2008

This book has insight that is still very relevant and useful today. The principles and practical tips that the author gives are worth reading again and again. The analogies and stories he uses drives home his points of choosing to think positively and provides ways to re-train yourself to develop that habit. I liked this book because it had depth, great verbiage and strong applications to daily life. It's a powerful tool to use yourself and to pass these concepts down to your children.
