Each endpaper has a thin short black mark at upper and lower edge; there is a 1-1/2" blank white label on half-title page corner and on rfep. Jacket with nice mylar covering is taped to book. Attractive exterior. A biography of the man whose fascination with flying machines produced the Bleriot XI, which cross ed the English Channel in thrity-seven minutes in the early 1900s.

Hardback story/picture book is clean and in very good condition. Dust jacket hasa gold Caldecott medal on front and a wide piece of clear tape wrapped around spine to cover some wrinkling/tearing. Tape covers a part of the Caldecott medal. Jacket is fair to good and in a Brodart protector. NOT AN EX-LIB!
