The Oher Californians

I purchased this book for a college course I am taking entitled The History of California. In fact, I am not done with the course yet, the semester is still in session. This book has been very helpful during the course and as I read each chapter, I am amazed and saddened by the information it supplies as to how the Indigenous People were treated under Spain, Mexico and the United States as each came to power. You cannot understand the history of California until you read this book; it tells California history as it really happened.
