Acceptable. A readable copy. All pages are intact, and the cover is intact (However the dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but the notes cannot obscure the text. Book may be a price cutter or have a remainder mark.
Good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972. Used books may not include companion materials, some shelf wear, may contain highlighting/notes, and may not include cd-rom or access codes. Customer service is our top priority!
Fine. The dust jacket is clean and undamaged. Pages are clean. Boards are solid, and spine is square and tight. All items guaranteed, and a portion of each sale supports social programs in Los Angeles. Ships from CA.
Of the four books in the "Emperor" series I can't rate one higher than the other three. I've previously identified Iggulden as my premier historical-fiction author. He covers a myriad of subject matter in a clear and accurate style that gives the feeling of your being in the front seat of the action.

This author knows how to get your attention and hold it! The story line may be full of fiction but the amount of history that is included makes a person believe that this is the way it was for the Roman Powers. This book is one that I will keep because of the ability that it has to make my imagination work overtime while following some historic facts! If you get one of these books you will want to get the whole series just to find out what happens next!
