Anaïs Nin (1903 – 1977) was an essayist and memoirist born to Cuban parents in France, where she was also raised. Nin lived most of her life in the United States where she became an established author, writing her own journals, novels, critical studies, essays, short stories, and erotica-a great deal of which was published after her death in 1977. This is the fifth volume taken from Nin's original journals which includes a passing reference to Aleister Crowley and several pages on Kenneth Anger and Cameron. Lower spine and edges lightly bumped, page edges darkened, otherwise a tight, clean near Fine copy in VG+ dust jacket. (DJ lightly rubbed, short closed tear upper rear spine, not clipped)
