How To Create Spiritual Habits That Work Jul 6, 2010
This book addressed a subject often neglected and misunderstood. Getting you to look deeper, to love with your whole self and not just partially. Learning to recognize that we may or may not be fully focused on God. We need to challenge our faith as well as the others to see if we are doing it out of what we were taught or out of habit. This is what creates doubt and unrest in people today. If we can't explain why we believe in what we do it creates doubt. We need these type answers so we can share and defend our faith but moreso for ourselves. I found new ways to challenge my beliefs. Dissecting "subject", considering evidence and arguments against it, and analyze strengths and weaknesses both for and against. This book was alot more of a challenging read for me personally and in order to fully absorb its ideals I had to reread some sections. Now I realize there is nothing wrong with questioning and challenging beliefs. It enables me to be able to better share my beliefs with others in my own personal style and language. This book wasn't your relaxing everyday type read but more of a hands on type reading. It helped me find new ways to build my faith and spiritual muscles.
