Edward Wilson

Edward Wilson served in Vietnam as an officer in the 5th Special Forces. His decorations include the Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal for Valor. Soon after leaving the army, he became a permanent expatriate and formally lost U.S. nationality in 1986. He is the author of" A River in May," which was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize.
