Walter Galenson

Walter Galenson (1914-1999) was Jacob Gould Schurman Professor of Economics at Cornell University. Previously, he was an economist for the United States Department of War and the Office of Strategic Studies. Some of his works include The World's Strongest Trade Unions, The Scandinavian Labor Movement, The United Brotherhood of Carpenters: The First Hundred Years, and Trade Union Democracy in Western Europe.
