Laurie Ochoa

Laurie Ochoa is co-founder and co-editor of Slake: Los Angeles. During eight years editor-in-chief of the LA Weekly, she led the paper to more national journalism awards than any other alternative, newspaper in the country, including the Pulitzer Prize in 2007. From 1999 to 2001, she was executive editor of Gourmet and spent 11 years as an editor and reporter at the Los Angeles Times.
