Selma Lagerlof

Selma Lagerlof, one of Sweden's best loved storytellers, became the first woman--and the first Swede--to win the Nobel Prize for literature in 1901. She is the author of "Gosta Berling's Saga," "Memories of Marbacka," and "The Wonderful Adventures of Nils."
