Professor Roald Hoffmann

Hoffmann settled in New York City after surviving the Nazi occupation and after several years of postwar wandering in Europe. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School, Columbia University, and from Harvard University with an M.A. in physics and Ph.D. in chemical physics.
