Harry Levin

Harry Levin (1912-1994) was a well-known literary critic, scholar of comparative literature, and Irving Babbitt Professor of Comparative Literature at Harvard University. Some of his works include "Refractions: Essays in Comparative Literature", "The Gates of Horn: A Study of Five French Realists", and "Playboys and Killjoys: An Essay on the Theory and Practice of Comedy".
