Arthur Ashe

Arthur Ashe was born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1943, and died in New York City on February 6, 1993. In his twenty-year tennis career Ashe won some of the most coveted singles championship games; Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, and the World Cup Team Finals.
