Not sure what is there to review. I'm taking calculus in college, this is the required textbook.
It's pretty good at explaining things and the there are interesting historical context stories sometimes. I can't compare it to other textbooks though so i don't know if it's decent for self learners as opposed to other books.
My daughter needed Calculus: Early Transcendental Functions 4th Edition for college. That is exactly what this says it is. 4/E is 4th edition is it not? We received the book and it is not the 4th Edition. I sent a message to customer service and the response I received was that "we sell multiple versions of this book on the same page so the description of what it is isn't always accurate" HUH? I had heard good things about this company but with my Daughter starting college this was and is my only purchase. Deception and poor customer service for sure. I contacted the seller of this book too of which I received no response.
