Good. No Dustjacket. 423 pages. No dust jacket. Green, gilt boards. A good volume with clean pages and bright copy, light foxing to the endpapers and fore-edge. The front hinge is cracked. Modest wear to the dustjacket with tears, nicks and creases to the spine, edges and corners.

Sewn binding, with all of the text block stable excedpt for FFEP and frontispiece and title pages, which are pulled loose, but include. These hav echips and tears on edges. Only indications of library use are name stamp on FFEO (also p.o. name) and minor pencil markings. Calf boards are totally loose (spine cover gone), and very scuffed and rubbed, with a fairly deep and long gouge on the front. Corners bare. Still, the text is all there, with Burns' poetry, songs, essays (including one on Scottish poetry), and songs of other Scottish poets. A treasure trove. And a nice fixer-upper.
