Near Fine. No Jacket. 12mo-over 6¾-7¾" tall. 632pp. + 637pp. The spine is stamped in gilt with an art nouveau style decoration, top edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Flexible leather. The spines have very slight sunning. Housed in the original slipcase which is only in Fair condition due to the fact that it is lacking the top panel, is tape repaired along the other joints, and is discolored. Scarce in the slipcase in any condition.

Marbled endpapers; tissue protective sheet over frontispiece; gold top edge.
