10th Anniversary Les Miserables

The music in this is glorious--this was billed as the 'Dream Cast" especially with Colm Wilkinson as Jean Valjean. He originated the role both in London and the US and has immense power and range. I've avoided this musical for years because Hugo is usually so depressing, but now I'm humming it all the time. Even the finale has a twist--17 International Valjeans sing parts of "Do You Hear the People Sing" in their native tongues. Even better the seller I ordered from Newtown Video Dist got the CD to me a week earlier than promised.
