Reviews of The Köln Concert

Overall customer rating: 5.000

Excellent for every listener

by artech on Sep 3, 2009

The Köln Concert is a solo live recording of pianist Keith Jarrett, based mostly on improvisations on known and unknown musical themes. That would most of the times make such a record difficult and frustrating for the unexperienced ear. But Jarrett's virtuosic playing and ordering speaks right to the heart of everyone who enjoys piano, making it highly emotional and mentally uplifting. In the same time a connoisseur can recognize the value of a highly skilled player and deep music expert such as Jarrett. Worth every second spent to listen to it!
