great history

This series of dvd's is a great history of the second world war in the Pacific against the Japaneese. Gives a very comprehensive insight into the emotions of the people involved.

Unfortunately we did not look at this item until a week ago. We discovered that three of the discs have flaws and are not fun to watch. The item was shrinkwrapped and I assumed this was new. It plays like a badly used damaged set. As for the content: We already knew the subject matter and that it was very good. My husband is a retired Marine and looked forward to watching it at his leisure.
