While there have been various remakes of the book, this one is pretty good. However, since it differs from the book at the end, the meaning of the title is left up to creative thinkers. I waited a year to see this movie and I have been sorely disappointed. The only thing that saves it is the fact that Will Smith is in it. The plot has been over used many times and if the movie hadn't ended so quickly, perhaps it would be mediocre. The ending did not satisfy me and I was left asking ...

I havn't read the book yet but the movie is INSANE. The only real creapy parts were the unexpected loud crashes and booms. I'm going to read the book but until then I'll watch the movie. If you like wacked out zombie people and Will Smith kicking but then you'll love this movie.
