"How To Mess Up Big Time For Dummies"

TITLE: Fatal Attraction GENRE: Drama, psychological thriller CAST: Glenn Close, Michael Douglas, Anne Archer and Ellen Hamilton Latzen PLOT: A married NYC corporate lawyer is enticed into a weekend affair with an apparently sane woman. Turns out she hides things well as she is not sane at all. She begins to harass him and his family culminating in a deadly showdown, sorta Ok Corral in the suburbs. RETURN ON INVESTMENT: 9.3 of 10; Best of everything in this movie dealing with a touchy subjects (infidelity, mental illness, family stresses) The dialogue develops the characters and the actors don't miss a beat in delivering their lines and expressions. I lost myself at times though in the sets. They seemed to put too much into trying to make the apartments and home too everymanish. Until a line was spoken, the sets were too dominating, And the finale bathroom seemed like grand central station. DVD BONUS: lots of features here of most of the important people involved producers, director and lead actors all giving their take in several different topic features. Also invcluded is the original ending to the film. ]ADDED NOTES: A good laywer would have had her sign a pre-affair contract which would have preventedactions in this film, A pre-schtupp if you will. And they gave no credit for the dog and rabbit.
