    TITLE: D.O.A.
    GENRE: Dramatic detective thriller
CAST: Dennis Quaid, Meg Ryan, Charlotte Rampling, Jane Kaczmarek, Daniel Stern, Robin Johnson and Jack Kehoe
PLOT: After being poisoned, a college professor/ex-writer finds that the police believe him to be complicit in his estranged wife's simultaneous murder. Several other deaths occur, seemingly linked to his "walking dead" situation. He tries to determine who his killer is before his death occurs in 24 hours.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT: 8 of 10; The acting is tremendous here .And, there are some of Hollywoods most recently beautiful (well they still are) actresses. But while the film opens in a noir echo of the 50s remake that it is, the color never satisfactorilly returns to the screen. So, the pan is for bad cinematog , directing and editing.
DVD BONUS: None in the version of the DVD I watched.
ADDED NOTES: None in the version I wrote. There is enjoyment in this film if you like to figure out the why's and who's in detective adventures. This one keeps twisting and maintaining attention at least.
