by skyprincess on October 13, 2008 I have read many of Hemmingway's book and this one is my favorite. I read it to my son when he was about nine and he loved it also. There are wonderful images conveyed of an earlier Cuba, the ocean, fishing and aging in this timeless classic. Short and sweet, this book is perfect for an afternoon, or a vacation read while on a cruise.
