Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child

This book was recommended to me by a Family Doctor when my daughter had sleep problems (16 years ago!). It worked!! We went on to have a pleasant infant, toddler, youngster and now teenager and I believe the principles outlined in this book are a direct result.

The book states, "A well rested child rests well." This is the key and this book can help!

I recently purchased this for a young mother who through her tears described her 2-year-old's lack of apparent sleep need. She has a new baby and this 2-year-old was not napping, not sleeping through the night (waking several times). The mother was exhausted! Her pediatrician said her 2-year-old had a sleep "condition" and would probably grow out of it by his teen years! Eeekk! Poor mom and dad!

Well, I suspected that maybe they could use the wisdom of this book and I purchased it through Alibris. Being despirate the mom devoured it.

With huge smiles now she reports to me that she would have been happy if he had just slept through the night but now he takes a 2 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon AND he sleeps 8-10 hours at night!!

Excellent book!! Buy it, read it, give it to all!
