This book helped me understand my own body more than any other book I've ever read on women's health and nutrition. Rosemary is down to earth, a respected herbalist and a superior teacher. I'm not sure if she still does it, but she hosts herbal training programs at her farm in Vermont and they used to sell out months in advance! She is that good!
The book is extremely easy to use- she will have you making your own tea blends in no time. Her recipes saved me from ineffective advice from doctors and helped me get my energy back after years of suffering from extreme menstrual pain and fatigue. Within a month of using some of the herbal blends she recommended I was off painkillers, and within another month I barely even knew I was "on my period." Truly amazing.
The book is like a cookbook for herbs- easy to follow recipes with a reference guide in the back telling you where to get bulk herbs, tea bags, strainers, and capsules. I promise it is all very easy! You don't need to quit your job to do this. One Saturday afternoon a month will do the job.
Rosemary explains the physical and emotional aspects of health in a very humble way. You will love this book! I am ordering my third copy here because I have given away my other 2 worn out copies to friends to use.
