Classic history and analysis
by ProfFox on June 18, 2007This is the second time I've read this. The first was when it first came out. This should be required reading in every civics and history class... and for every presidential candidate. It clearly demonstrates how even the smartest people can be mislead by their assumptions, prejudgements, and predispositions in total contradiction to "the facts on the ground."
I wish someone would do a similar book on the Bush Administration and the run-up to the Iraq war. The parallels are shocking.
