Another afterlife experience

4out of 5

For those who like to assure themselves that there is an afterlife by reading the near death experiences of others, this is a book with a slightly different slant. Most of the narratives we read include conversations with loved ones and descriptions of other beings. This book is written from a very left brain viewpoint as well as being told by an obviously intelligent, scientific narrator. He does not include warm and fuzzy images, but by relating his story in concrete descriptions without a lot of emotion, it is even more believable to us that he is telling the absolute truth as he experienced it. The structure of the book is a bit choppy, and this person is no romantic author, but he does provide an important perspective for us: the more we learn about vibrations, microscopic particles, and so forth, the more plausible it is that we are existing on only one of many wavelengths, and therefore the more believable it is that we can also experience life on other planes after we have left this one. The book is also refreshingly free of any dogmatic religion, and this is advantageous for agnostics, atheists, and all the rest of the viewpoints in today's world.
