by DowninginReading on May 6, 2012Block claims to have been talking to an ex-CIA agent (or maybe an active CIA agent---who can tell?) who saw a copy of this book, first published under an assumed name, and grunted out a sound of displeasure. "Everybody in the agency knows about this guy. He wandered off the reservation and pulled some weird stuff". That is enough to establish the book's feeling of fidelity to the real world. As for reading it, a fine ride, worth the time and money.
