by Glassy on April 6, 2012Hey, I originally heard about the Eat Right Plan over 8 yrs ago from a friend on the West coast, but the idea of eating according to your blood type seemed ludicrous, so I ignored it. Four (4) years later a relative mentioned it and said it was working for her along with other herbal remedies and it had truly made a difference. Again, unconvinced, I choose "not" to look into the "Eat Right" plan. THEN, three (3) years ago a very dear friend, who had helped me overcome a severe stress-related ailment in the past, I mentioned to her in conversation that I suffered from allergies, she suggested the "Eat Right" book! So after hearing it from 3 different people over a total of 8 years...I decided to check it out. FYI - I had always self-diagnosed myself and thought I was allergic to "protein" because I would experience a bad reaction after eating certain foods (i.e., bleeding gums). Anyway, upon reading the book I found out I was allergic "not" to protein...but to a certain meat. I immediately eliminated it from my diet and "no more bleeding gums." I follow the program maybe 70%...but it has definitely made a big difference in my life.
