Germs & Gas, how Banting was not Best

Covering just a decade this book blows the yarmulke right off the head of the rulers. Every day several times I have to inject insulin since I was a little boy in the 70's. I had been told the wonderful story of Banting & Best and the cute named female dog who had helped to save me as a diabetic child. When you read this book about the filthy soulless beasts who churned out gazillions of gallons of poison and infection, killing their own people and altering entire ecosystems, you may well want some answers from your doctor, your government and some people with the really frightening beards and funny hats!
