In this touching account, Kingsbury manages to weave a story about a young man who is autistic, a dysfunctional family suffering from the after-effects of fame, a bullying-induced suicide, and the impact of a rekindled friendship. It's a story of a mother's unconditional love, a father's love, and the courage it takes for the family to pull together in the face of their struggles. It is a story of hope that can encourage, but also a story of loss that may leave you in need of tissues in more than one place. It's also a story of the difference one person who chooses to do what's right, can make. Inspiring, encouraging, touching, and well worth the short time it takes to read.
