The whole book can be boiled down to one line of advice: Don't let your plants get sick in the first place. You will learn a lot about what makes plants susceptible to disease. All remedies are work intensive.
One healing method that was totally ignored was talking to your plant / praying for it's well-being, so this book is out-of-date.
