A unique epic book
by Thomas G on July 3, 2010Takes reader from prehistoric days and ends in WW II. Interlinks characters to their decendants using various traits and physical features. Can drag at times but seems to pick up as you read on. The jist of the continuing story is the building of the "Cathederal". Gives accurate historical facts while intermixing fictional characters with actual events in England. My only complaint is Rutherfurd seemed to rush the end when book got to the 20th century. Perhaps he was afraid the book would be too long to sell commercially. I highly recommend this author and his other books.
