by mackrocks on May 6, 2010 This is nearly the only, and certainly the best, field manual for geologists. Although it is now almost 50 years old and much of the physical mapping technology has been superseded by GPS and Google Earth, the geologic field skills which are the body of the work are as relevant today as always. This manual is strongly recommended for all geology students and recent graduates.
