by OperaDiva on March 31, 2010 In a storybook with no words, the pictures had better do the tale justice and Pinkney succeeds. The pictures of the Serengeti are so lush and detailed, they seem to spring from the page. The animals are realistic and utterly lifelike, right down to the fur and claws. This book is a visual delight, a treat to all those who are fans of this fantastic illustrator.
