This work is required reading for anyone wanting to know about the Vietnam war or for anyone wanting to know about how those in positions of authority should NOT go about waging war. One caution, however, McMaster "ain't no" Tom Clancy. This is not a pleasurable read. You will earn the knowledge you gain.
