by ezwriter on May 21, 2009I recall my grandmother telling me that certain veggies shouldn't be planted next to each other because they retard the growth of the plant next to it, but through the years, I'd forgotten much of what she taught. Companion planting is almost a lost art, I think, but one which our pioneer ancestors knew well. I have a tiny (condo) garden plot so anything that helps me maximize my yield is greatly appreciated.
