by PeachTea on March 14, 2009I'm sure the author is a marvelous lady with many many talents and gifts. Writing (at least of this book) is not one of them.
It was horrible. Well, no, it was laughable. I promise, I was actually laughing in parts (I wasn't supposed to be laughing in) because it was so awful. Five minutes after meeting this man, the heroine, Sara, is pining after him, and spends the rest of the book whining that if he really loved her he'd do whatever.
She immediately begins calling him by his first name (even shortening it), and his kids adore her (naturally). It was ridiculously predictable--when situations were introduced, I could tell you what would happen (Sara always saved the day). It was ridiculous. Sara "laughs until her sides hurt" over something that isn't even MILDLY funny, and the entire thing is weak.
