by Maggy on October 9, 2007This semi-autobiographical novel describes the struggles of Dick and Nicole Diver as they strive to keep their marriage together despite Nicole's increasingly devastating mental disorder. It's probably the most difficult to understand of Fitzgerald's works, but it is also one of his masterpieces. If you are interested in the "Lost Generation" writers, the Jazz Age, or mental disorders/their effects, you will probably love this book.
