Refund Issued in General

i ordered four books that I desperately need for school, and could not afford too pay a lot for. Two of the books have been shipped, and the other two were canceled and issued a refund??? Now the books are four times the amount!! Is this some kind of joke? Do they put out dummy book prices to lure you in then cancel them so you pay more?? Definitely not happy, and I even paid extra to have them priority expedited. Never ordering again!!

I have this very same issue, and Alibris is very slow to pay back and react. I have to pay Visa and Alibris has interest profits from this transaction. That makes it fraudulous behavior.

I looked up your order and confirmed that your full refund was issued Feb. 8. You'll see the refund post back to your account within a couple of business days.

Like you, we wish refunds were processed as quickly as charges. Please keep in mind that Alibris does not immediately receive your payment from Visa. We don't make interest profits off of refunded orders. We lose money on each refund due to the additional transaction fees the credit card companies charge us.
