Very entertaining exploration of the future we were promised in 60's TV and movies, and how that compares to where we are now. Each section ("Jet Pack," "X-ray specs," etc.) is brief but to the point and includes a nice review of how close modern science has come to the "future" of our past. Understandable to the layman and some excellent touches of humor. Maybe just a bit superficial, especially in its review of our sci-fi past, but still a good read.

Where's my money back

This book was totally sub standard and while it held some useful information, most people who have cable televeision have probably seen most of these topics covered in a more thorough and entertaining manner on the Discovery channel. The writing style was bland and uninteresting and overshadowed exciting and interesting topics .
