I couldn't finish this book, as hard as I tried. The writing is of such poor, amateurish quality that it distracts from the story of one man's passion. I have never heard of David Oliver Relin, but he did not do justice to Greg Mortenson. Sorry, not recommended.

A wonderful story of how one man changed the lives of so many.

Love fiction, generally don't like non-fiction. It's not that I don't have utmost respect for amazing people and their inspiring lives...but I just get bored and wait for it to end impatiently.
This book was the exception... It REALLY sucked me in. I itched to read more and more. Just goes to show, with dedication, anyone can make it happen

This is an excellent story - a must read for anyone who believes that war is not the way to change the world.
