Very Good. Book An extensive and impressive collection of European poetry compiled by eminent American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Bound in blue cloth with gilt lettering and blindstamped decoration. Longfellow was assisted by C. C. Felton with the biographical sketches. With a beautifulengraved title page. Condition: The binding is generally tight and firm, although there are several instances of the cords exposed. The inner hinges are strained. There is wear to the extremities, including rubbing and bumping with discolouration. Internally the pages have browning to the edges andscattered foxing. With a Worcester Public Library, Victoria Institute issue label to the front pastedown, and ink stamps throughout the text. Overall the condition is good only.
