I have now read four Carl Hiaasen's books and loved them all. His characters are always so interesting and I like how their lives are always intertwined. My mother-in-law recommeded Sick Puppy to me and I thought it would be about a dog. Obviously that's not the case! I would recommend any of his books ...

I have always enjoyed Hiaassens books but this one is not one of his best. Not only the heroine, but the whole book is bipolar. The plot is thin and slow to develop.
