She has great friends, a decent job, and a car that only breaks down every other week or so. In other words, she's your perfectly ordinary twenty-first-century woman. Or so she thinks ...until something extraordinary happens. When her sister is murdered, leaving a single clue to her death - a cryptic message on Mac's cell phone - Mac journeys to Ireland in search of answers. Sent these books to my daughter and she loved them, peeled through them like a banana! She was never much of a reader until she stumbled across this series. Now she can't get enough of them!

Love at First Read
Karen Marie Moning has begun a series that will captivate you. Period. This has the perfect blend of the modern thriller, fantasy and magic, and romance that makes you hope the book will never end. This is just one of those rare books you will love and when you are done with the series (because you WILL buy the next two books) no other book can make you happy. It is a treasure you will try and get all your friends to read.

Darkfever says It all
This book is not what you would normally read from Karen Marie Moning. She basically is a romatic writer, nevertheless, this book is great. It has suspense, thriller, a bit of humor that just has you on a roller coaster ride. It keeps you turning the pages to finally get to the truth of it all. I couldn't put it down. So if your in for a nonstop, detective, thriller book, here it is. You won't regret it...and when you finish it.....it will leave you hanging for the continuation in her next book bloodfever.
