A great compilation of recipes by Bon Appetit. An excellent resource for those looking for ideas for entertaining and more "special" dinners. I have always found their recipes worth trying and for the most easy to follow. A great addition to your kitchen library.

An excellent everyday cookbook
This is the best cookbook I have ever had. It doesn't have many pictures, but the recipes are clear, concise, and turn out every time. It really covers all the bases for all kinds of foods, from everyday breakfast foods (like Giant Sunday Pancakes, pg.36 ) to more adventurous dishes (Herbed Quinoa with Pine Nuts pg.242). I have tried and loved many of the recipes and many have become repeat meals that my husband and my kids love. If you like simple, quality recipes that taste great, this cookbook will not disappoint.

It's okay, but not great...
I was disappointed in the starkness of the book. Almost completely without photos!
