Morrigan's Cross

Standing on the cliffs of 12th century Ireland following the disappearance of his twin, Hoyt Mac Cionaoith is visited by the goddess Morrigan and is charged with the ultimate of tasks: saving his and all future worlds. His enemy - the beautiful but deadly vampire queen Lilith - has had over two thousand years' experience in cruelly killing and changing humans into her own kind - including Hoyt's brother, Cian. Now, Hoyt, a sorcerer, must travel across the world and through time to find and train the five others Morrigan has prophesised will join him as a circle and do battle against Lilith's army of vampires. Fate brings him first to Glenna Ward - a modern witch who can make her own kind of magic. Hoyt and Glenna find themselves drawn together, but is their love strong enough to survive not just the battle ahead but the centuries that separate them? Morrigan's Cross is part of The Circle Trilogy, Nora Roberts' magical new series of paranormal romances. Other titles in this series are Dance of the Gods and Valley of Silence. Hide synopsis

Nora Roberts is my favorite author; I have not read a story by her yet that was mediocre! This triology is another fantastic tale, complete w/all the supernatural element that make her fantasies top of the line! The way she builds the relationships between these six characters is an art form in itself; her characters, the depth of their personalities, and the way they relate to and care for each other, just builds and builds throughout the series, and the final conclusion is very satisfying, as always. You can't go wrong with any Nora Roberts series, or story!

Another wonderfully written book

Nora Has done it again! She had captured my attentioned until I finished the last page. I had first started reading Nora Roberts while I was still in High School and since then I have been a very big fan. I would most deffinatly recommend this book to a friend. I am sure if anyone picks this for their first try with Nora Roberts books than they will not be disappointed.

Morrigan's Cross

I always enjoy Nora Roberts' books. I especially enjoy her trilogies because when I reach the end of the book, I wish there was more! This particular trilogy is very interesting subject...vampires, witches, wizards, time travel...not what I'm used to with Nora Roberts. But I am enjoying the storyline, it's a combination of love & romance, horror, a little humor, imagination. Because of her writing style, you get to know all her characters very well, as well as being able to envision them in your mind. I would definitely say if you like Nora Roberts, start reading this trilogy. I'm currently reading book 2, Dance of the Gods and look forward to book 3, Valley of Silence.

Fantastic book!! At first, I wasn't going to read it as I'm not big on vampire novels. But being a huge Nora Roberts fan and reading everything else she had written, I decided to give it a shot. Within the first few pages, I was hooked!! Nora Roberts has another hit. I completely recommend this book to everyone, vampire fans or not.
