A Very Good Book on Programming SQL Server

by DamjanDjurasek on Feb 28, 2009

This book contains information every senior SQL Server database developer should know. A lots of things explained in this book are less known. You will find explanation on specifics of SQL Server system procedure's execution, differences between inline and multistatement table-valued functions, difference between tables in tempdb and table variables, and a lot more. Itzik Ben Gan knows the stuff he is writing about. His passion for solving riddles in T-SQL is fascinating. In this book he gives a lots of advice on solving common problems in today's database aplication. I also like the stile this book is written with, as there is just about enough matemathical theory contained.
