Very interesting and informative

by Holli on May 6, 2010

I love this book. It is so interesting and it also has good valuable information from a psychological and biological standpoint. If you want to understand how to read people better or have ever wondered why we are attracted to certain things this is the book to read.

Efficient communication

Studies show that roughly three quarters of all information is exchanged nonverbally with body language the most important component. This exhaustive review of nonverbal signals will give you insight into the messages people are trying to send to you, and that you may not be aware you are sending to others. This is especially important because for most people body language operates subconsciously and can reveal what someone is really thinking no matter what words they are saying. The book is engagingly written and organized into a variety of topics including dominance signals, hand and arm gestures, the meaning of different types of smiles, intercultural differences in body language, courtship displays and many more. The book is fun to read and will really give you a better understanding of body language so that you can make a better first impression, tell if someone is lying, or recognize when someone is attracted to you.
